After the launching of our New Living Wall Division and continuously pursuing new sustainable living technologies, ELT is proud to unveil our new product:
ELT - Natural Wastewater Treatment
ELT - Wastewater Natural Treatment is an inventive wastewater treatment which only uses plants for the cleaning process. The purification is done by plant roots and microorganisms naturally present on those roots.
The system can be used to treat several kinds of wastewater sources such as:
Residential wastewater
Industrial wastewater
Agricultural wastewater

Conventional treatment plants like activated sludge plants enforce biological organisms with energy-intensive mechanical equipment to decompose complex compounds, to incorporate the nutrients in biomass and finally to separate that biomass from the purified water. Constructed wetlands are principally using the same natural degradation processes and nutrient uptake but they are acting as extensive systems. The high degree of biodiversity presented in these systems allows multiple and various degradation mechanisms for several classes of compounds, and therefore higher performances in comparison with the technological treatment plants in which only a few families of specialized bacteria are grown. The purifying processes take place without input of human produced energy by, for instance, oxygenating pumps.
The ELT Natural Wastewater Treatment presents several advantages in comparison to traditional wastewater treatments such as:
But the most important advantages are environmental:
